Several research have shown the effect of input current ripple that can reduce the power transfer efficiency of PV. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In this Final Project, a new DC-DC boost topology converter Dahono-5 with the characteristics of high-gain zero-ripple. Dahono-5 DC-DC boost converter is a cascade of multiphase DC-DC boost converters with conventional DC-DC boost converters. This converter can provide solutions for high-gain requirements as well as zero-ripple input current from PV grid connected system applications. Zero-ripple input current can be theoretically obtained at any switching frequency condition. Experiments were carried out with the implementation of Dahono-5 DC-DC boost converter prototype and it can be shown that Dahono-5 boost converter has high-gain and zero- ripple input current. <br /> text |
