Screening of the artificial lift method is one of the important steps in order to maintain the performance of a well in producing hydrocarbons with depleted reservoir pressure. There are many methods can be used in screening artificial lifts, such as the screening method by the Journal of Petroleum...

There are many methods can be used in screening artificial lifts, such as the screening method by the Journal of Petroleum Technology (Clegg, 1993) and Weatherford that has been proven in more than 500000 oil wells in the world.

In this study, there will be discussion for the process of choosing an artificial lift in volatile oil reservoir with high gas oil ratio. The selection process will be based on JPT and Weatherford screening along with additional evaluation related to best technical and economic design that have not been discussed in the two previous methods. The election of artificial lift design base on the selection of the JPT dan Weatherford methods can be added with study results. text
