| Summary: | Nowadays the growth of shopping center in Indonesia is growing rapidly. The developing city, Depok, also influenced by the growing phenomenon. In a shopping center, tenants with low traffic of visitors was frequently found. The low traffic movement through tenants can be caused by many factors, including space configuration. In the past few years found a method to analyze the space configuration called space syntax, a tools to calculate how big the space configuration value, owned by a space. A shopping center designed by using space configuration analysis to predict and design the movement of visitor. The design stage is divided into three phases, schematic design phase, space syntax analysis phase, and preliminary design phase. Lifestyle center typology designed in order to compete with other competitors in Depok City. |
