Summary: | The built diagnostic system is a system based on field and laboratory data collection. Data collection, in the field that is leakage current, conducted in GI Pangandaran with natural aging for five years and seven months from October 2011 to May 2017. Data collection of six ceramic isolators with and without coating is carried out in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The insulator is given stress by AC voltage 50 Hz of 11 kV. The data are leakage current, contact angle, THD, ambient temperature, and surface temperature of insulator. to know the characteristics of its flashover, the insulator was tested in the laboratory with a test voltage of 11 kV - 50 kV. The test is carried out under the same conditions as the clean and salt humidity. The data is used as the basic information characteristic of ceramic insulator with and without coating on online diagnostic tool. The result, obtained by the ceramic coating insulator, is able to suppress leakage current. While this diagnostic device has more capability and speed for transfer data than the previous device. Data and device that have been made can be a reference for the development of other diagnostic devices. |
