Summary: | As a new approach in shrimp farming, RAS and Hybrid have been able to support super-intensive shrimp farming (~ 500 PL / m3 density). As a food product, it is necessary to study the nutritional value of shrimp cultured on both systems. This study aims to analyze the profile of amino acids and fatty acids of cultured white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) using Recirculation Aquaculture System (RAS) and Hybrid systems (using a combination of system: Recirculation Aquaculture System - Zero Water Discharge), using white shrimp cultivated in a pond system as a comparison. In this research, amino acids were analysed using HPLC method consist of 4 stages, that are sample preparation, drying, derivatization and injection on HPLC 940-LC variant and fatty acid were determined using saponification and esterification method consist of 3 stages, that are sample extraction, esterification - transesterification and identification using Gas Chromatography-Flame Ionization Detector (GC-FID). Based on the results obtained, in the thrird cultivation systems found 17 amino acids consist of 9 non-essential amino acids and 8 essential amino acids. The highest non-essential amino acid is glutamic acid found in Hybrid system with the value of 7191 mg/100 g, while the highest essential amino acid is leucine fund in pond system (Indramayu) with the value of 3077 mg/100 g. The highest total amino acid content was found in Hybrid system with the value of 33968 mg/100 g, while the pond system was 32592 mg/100g, and the RAS system was 28190 mg/100g. There are 26 types of fatty acids consist of 12 types of saturated fatty acids (SAFAs), 7 types of monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs), and 7 types of unsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), with the highest total fatty acid content found in Hybrid systems (18 type; 26.07x105 mg/100 g), and the most fatty acid composition found in RAS system (22 type; 13.03x105 mg/100 g) compared to the pond system (Indramayu) (20 type; 9.07x105 mg/100 g). Based on the results of the study, the Hybrid system that combines Recirculating Aquaculture Systems and the addition of microbial agents in the ZWD system were able to give the best result in the profile of amino acids and fatty acids of white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) compared to RAS and pond systems. <br />
