Summary: | An idol popularity can’t be separated from the influence of social media. Most of them had social media accounts so they can near with their fans. Social media can be used as news carrier relatively quickly both positive and negative news. This report will discuss a mathematical model of the influence of media to popularity idol. This model will be divided into two, without and with the influence of social media. Each model will be analyzed stability from equilibrium and also numeric simulation for some cases in both models so that it can show how the influence of the social media. The influence of the social media in spreading positive news lead infected population increased, while negative news lead infected population bored quickly. In addition, the simulation was also done from google trends’s data. The simulation based on data of Justin Bieber, One Direction, Michael Jackson, and The Beatles. First model simulation result based the data, the simulation generate different parameters on each idols, while other simulation generate gradient on kind of news with gradient of the negative news more bigger than the positive news. |
