Description
Summary:Water is a human need for life. The need of domestic water for each person

is different, it is usually affected by the number of population and human living

standard. One of the way to cater domestic water for human is creating a small

dam to save water in wet season and to use water in dry season.

The location of this study is in Wabloy Village, Lolong Guba, Buru District,

Maluku Province. This study of small dam consist of hydrological analysis,

hydraulical calculation, stability analysis, and budget calculation. This design

including design of main dam, spillway and rotating basin. Then I also calculate

the stability of this dam, and budget estimation.

There are a few conclusion about this study. Those are, the planned volume

capacity of this dam is 195.480,9 m3 which is able to fulfil the raw water need of

16.464 people by using 13,79 l/s of discharge. And another conclusion is that the

stability of this dam is already calculated as a safe stability with a safety factor of

1,5 (when it doesn’t consider earthquake) and 1,2 (when it consider earthquake).
