With this demand, such astronomical device for presenting image of the sun is worth to be designed and built that is useful as a tool for describing the sun to <br /> <br /> public. Designing and building the device comprise of mechanics, optics, and electronics works, in order to produce the sun image on a screen with features of real-time and clear picture. The device is capable to have self-support power supply and portable (compact and light). Many obstacles have occurred in designing and building the device. Some design alternatives of the device have been proposed prior to finally the master one has been selected for this Final Project. Prototype of the projector device is able to fulfill almost all of the expected features. However, some lacks still exist with some of them have never thought before. Finally some modifications to the master design are implemented. It is a hope that this device prototype can be used as a model to build a fully operating product. Some improvements for completion of the device have also been given. text |
