Although this condition is not fatal, it has a high chain effect for health, especially for the mental. Indonesia is one of country with the most disabilites prevalence among the ASEAN countries. However, this condition is not compromised with a proper solution for the prevalence. For example, the prosthetic hand. The available and dominating products of prosthetic hand are the conventional type, aiming just to be a cosmetic. Even though, with the availibility of active prosthetic hand (bionic hand) that can works just like the normal hand, the disappeared hand function could be fulfilled. However, the available commercially bionic hand cost more than 400 million rupiah. This research objected to design a low cost adaptive transradial bionic hand to meet the prevalence needs. The fabrication of design requirements and objectives are based on the definition of functional hand and the hand anthropometry data. The result of dynamic and static structural analysis with the finite element method shows that the designed bionic hand able to receive load from everyday task. Further research in the frame structure design is needed to develop the affordable bionic hand text
