Gravity method is usually used in preliminary stage of oil, gas and minerals exploration. In addition, this method can also be used to detect the presence of magma. Magma is a natural silicate fluid that occupies a bag called a magma chamber. The depth and magnitude of the geometry of the magma chambers are some of the factors causing the magnitude or eruption of a Volcano so the geometry of magma chambers needs to be determined in order to estimate the depth and volume of magma. In this study, the volcano that became the object of research is Bromo Volcano, Malang, East Java. The data used is Complete Bouger Anomaly Data of Malang Region 1994. The data is then digitized to obtain residual and regional anomaly map. After that, forward modeling is done with reference to the previous research of Bromo Volcano (such as : hypocenter data, and geological information of the surrounding area. text
