Walkability is a term used to describe and measure the level of connectivity and quality of urban pedestrian facilities that can comprehensively measure of the availability of infrastructure for pedestrians and studies linking the provision / supply and needs. Walkability is an important concept in sustainable urban design and a measure of how friendly the area is to be a pedestrian-friendly area. Factors that affect walkability, including the presence or absence and the quality of pedestrian paths, sidewalks, traffic and road conditions, land use patterns, building accessibility, and security. Jalan Ahmad Yani as one of the main road connecting the city of Bekasi is the main road that grow rapidly and become the protocol currently the largest in the city of Bekasi. where all sorts of activities take place along the road. With the diversity of these activities, the mobility of the people who perform activities along the way Ahmad Yani require adequate pedestrian facilities as one of the supporting activities. Good pedestrian facilities that meet the safety, security, convenience for users as well as a good level of accessibility in the connectivity between centers of activities located along the road. Level of walkability in the city of Bekasi Ahmad Yani obtained from 2 methods of assessment, namely the Global Walability Index (GWI) and the relevant provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works No. 03 / PRT / M / 2014 on Guidelines for Planning, Supply, and Utilization of Infrastructure and Means Walking Network in Urban Area with the following results: The results of the processing of the data obtained from the respondents' assessment of the level of overall walkablity Jl. Ahmad Yani is at 52.54 with a sufficient criterion. The best conditions are shown in segment 2 with the assessment value 63.63 which means good, and the lowest is 6 segments with a value of 38.74, which means bad. Based on the observation and assessment conducted in 6 segments surveyor observations obtained the highest score is the result of the first segment with a value of 62.22 (good) and the lowest obtained by segment 6 with a value of 40 (bad). The overall value Jl Ahmad Yani is 52.22 which means the value of walkability is sufficient.
