The research area is 54 km2. Geomorphology of research area is divided into three geomorphological

units. Those units are Karangmulya Homocline Ridges Unit, Bangunkarya Cuesta Hills Unit, and Selasari Karst Hills Unit. Geomorpholgy of research area is in mature geomorphic stage. Stratigraphy of research area is divided into four lithological units, namely Breccia Unit, Sandstone Unit, Limestone Unit, and Alluvial Deposit Unit. Breccia Unit was deposited in upper submarine fan environment during Early Miocene. Sandstone Unit was deposited conformably above Breccia Unit during Middle

Miocene in middle-outer neritic environment. Limestone Unit was deposited interfingering with Sandstone Unit during Middle Miocene in inner-middle neritic environment. Alluvial Deposit Unit is still being deposited until now. Fold and faults in the research area are the product of compressional deformation regime, trending north-south, formed in Plio-Pleistocene epoch. Hydrogeological observation result shows that the aquifer in the research area is a sedimentary rock aquifer system with unconfined aquifer type. Aquifers in the research area are the weathering result of Breccia Unit, Sandstone Unit, and Limestone Unit. Its groundwater type is fresh (TDS 46,4-434 mg/L) with the dominat flows towards southwest, south, and southeast. Carbonate mineral dissolution results in higher TDS and pH value in the southern than in the northern parts. Based on pH and TDS value analysis, and referring to Permenkes RI No.492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010, the consumable groundwater is in the northern part. text
