Summary: | Cancer is a health problem. One of the cancer treatment is radiotherapy. Radiotherapy is a treatment technique using radiation. Prior to treatment is do the planning process called the Treatment Planning System (TPS). TPS is used to determine the dose distribution that would result in the body of the selected beam. The aim of this thesis was to analyze the DVH confidence by giving the fraction of variation in the case of prostate cancer patients by using software Computational Environment for Radiotherapy Research (CERR). This study used the results of a CT scan two prostate cancer patients. Radiation techniques used seven field consisting of AP, RAO, RT Lat, RPO, LPO, LT Lat, and LAO. Features used on CERR is a plan robustness analysis by varying the fraction administration. This feature has four parameters, namely fraction, trial, systematic and random error. Determining the fraction of selected variation is 16, 36, 56, and 76 fractions for bladder and targets. Determination of systematic and random error chosen is 0.85 cm to the front, 0.59 cm to the right and 1.19 cm up to the bladder, as well as 1 cm to the front, 1 cm to the right and 1 cm upwards to the target. The bandwidth increases exponentially DVH not a given fraction. The width of the ribbon DVH thinnest to the patient 1 is shown in 36 fractions for bladder and 56 fractions to the target, while the patients are shown in 56 fractions for bladder and targets. |
