The demand of cauliflower in the market is rising along with Indonesia's population growth but cauliflower cultivation technique in Indonesia is still using the conventional ways that could negatively impact the environment. Cultivation technique of cauliflower can be done by using the product of waste bioconversion by Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) called leachate as a replacement of synthetic fertilizer. The purpose of this research is to determine the efficiency of conversion of cauliflower waste by BSFL and also the growth response and production of cauliflower using the leachate from bioconversion of agricultural waste by BSFL. The research consists of one control treatment and three level concentration of leachate given, in variety of 5% (A), 10% (B), and 15% (C). The value of ECD, AD, and WRI of BSFL are 33,9%, 14,7%, and 4,1 respectively. The result of study showed that the highest total leaf chlorophyll content produced by A treatment in 13,18 mg/L. The B treatment have the highest value of curd sturdiness at 2,66 kgf/cm2 while the C treatment has the highest curd diameter and curd fresh weight of 18.919 cm and 469.976 g. The highest estimated productivity owned by C treatment with the value of 11,55 ton/ha/year. The mass balance of the cauliflower production unit includes the mass flow of seed, planting media, liquid organic fertilizer, water, evapotranspiration, plant biomass, and wasted mass with a total mass flow rate value of 57.600 g/plant/production. text |
