To deal with this increased complexity, an information system needs to be built. This information system consists of five subsystems, those are front office subsystem, outpatient subsystem, inpatient subsystem, medicine logistics subsystem, and billing subsystem. <br /> <br /> <br /> The national health insurance is managed by BPJS (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial) Kesehatan. This health insurance is using reimbursement policy, which means that the hospital needs to cover the service cost first and then file a claim to BPJS Kesehatan for the reimbursement. <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on the analysis of the existing problems, the main functional requirements for the billing system are processing hospital billing, providing transaction recapitulation data, and automating the filing of claim to BPJS Kesehatan. Transaction recapitulation data is provided through exporting a digital file in the format of .xls. The automation of filing the claim is made possible through integration between this system with the government-provided INA-CBG (Indonesian Case-based Groups) application. <br /> <br /> <br /> The system architecture is split into two, client side and API (Application Programmable Interface) server. The client side is made with AngularTS framework, and the API server is made with Laravel framework. System test is done with appropriate testing scenario based on the system’s use-cases. Based on the test results, it is determined that the resulting system is able to fulfill all main functional requirements. text
