Description
Summary:One of the biggest challange in hydrocarbon exploratian is how to distribute rock properties of the reservoir. One methods that usually is being use for mapping rock properties are simultaneous inversion. In this simultaneous inversion, it is important to make sure that P-wave, S-wave and density inversion should give a good result because this result will being used to another process. This study will use this methods for mapping rock properties on reservoir distribution. One of advanced analysis that used to be use is Lambda-Mu-Rho (LMR) for lithology reservoir identification. LMR is also being used in well log transformation and then the result will be observed should it will give the anomaly caused by hydrocarbon. This study used Nova Scotia field data with zone of interest lies at Misisauga Formation. This data included well L-30 and well B-41 data ( caliper, density, Vp , gamma ray, neutron porosity, resistivity, dan SP) meanwhile Log Vs will be estimated using FRM from Hampson-Russel software and seismic data 3D PSTM. From two methods, we hope the zone of interest (2095-2250 ms) properties will be able to being mapped properly. As for the result, with help from Lambda-Rho and MuRho Cut off which are 17-22 Gpa*g/cc and 20-28 Gpa*g/cc for each value, reservoir distribution and hidrocarbon distribution can be obtained. And one new well has been proposed which is located to North-West from L-30 well.
