Volcano in Indonesia is often considered a catastrophe for the people of Indonesia. The change in thinking can be done with the public's understanding of volcanoes. Assessment volcanoes in this study piled with contextual learning physics. Assessment is carried out in a volcanic based on an observation directly or with the aid of observations. Process in a volcanic eruption assessed starting from the propagation of magma originating from convection currents from the lower layers of the lithosphere that causes movement of the lithosphere. The tectonic movements produced several products that are often called magma. Magma has a high temperature and pressure. This magma then trigger a breakout of rock to rise which can be approximated by Mohr-Coulomb diagram. Furthermore, the process of propagation through the cracks can be done with the use of debit Poiseulle Law magma flow rate in the process of eruption. Based on the energy obtained in each major eruption, it can be seen also the rate of buildup of energy obtained. The rate of magma buildup that later became prediction as a volcanic eruption. Based on the study of physics that mountain roar erupted July 10, 2015 a major eruption. Major eruption can be seen that the magma derived from the magma chamber middle. So that allegedly contained a sac located near the surface that cause the eruption continued on August 2, 2015. The subsequent eruption process is a volcanic eruption that indicates a blockage is already open. However, the process of propagation of magma volcanic activity indicates that the medium and shallow pockets have been left blank. In addition to the review process will be obtained from the volcanic eruption of volcanoes benefit from understanding as one source of contextual teaching materials physics. These benefits can be applied in a community learning about volcanoes. Other benefits gained are a source of employment provision. Provisions of this work can be used to improve the economy of communities around volcanoes. text |
