Summary: | Daan Mogot City Apartment is an apartment with 1 basement floors and 30 floors which used as the apartment. This final project focuses on the foundation design of the tower and and podium along with the excavation of basement of 3.5 m with the slope of 45°.
The steps of foundation design are: Determining the axial-load carrying capacity of a single bored pile based on design approach of Reese and Wright, Determining the lateral-load carrying capacity of a single bored pile using ENSOFT LPILE software program, analyzing the carrying capacity of group pile using ENSOFT GROUP, Settlement Anaysis with elastic method by Poulos, Vesic, and load-transfer method using CIVILTECH ALLPILE and ENSOFT GROUP, Comparing the differential settlement of each pile on each conditions/methods to the permissible deformation limit, and Designing the reinforcement of the bored pile based on force calculated by the analysis and program on the previous steps.
Bored piles are chosen with the consideration of ground condition based on SPT value. Bored piles with diameters of 0.8, 1, and 1.2m are applied at depth range 35–45 m. The pile groups consist of 5 configuration types of groups with 2.5 diameter distances between piles, PB2 (2x2), PB3 (2x2), PB4 (2x3), PB5 (3x3), and PC (2x2). The range of group settlement is less than 15 cm with qualified differential settlement (< 1/300). Lateral deformation occurs with range between 0,4-1,5 mm for each pile (calculated using Ensoft LPILE and GPILE). 13 units of D30 are designed for longitudinal reinforcements of pile with diameter of 1m and 18 units of D30 for pile with diameter of 1.2m (calculated using PCACOL) and for transversal reinforcement, D13-75. The reinforcement of the pile and the pile cap is designed based on SNI 03-2847-2013 “The Planning and Designing of Concrete Structure for Building Construction” Code of Regulation |
