Papua is an island in Indonesia that still slightly explored. One of the obstacle in Papua is the lack of land transportation route that connected various region because of its contour. The alternative is using the river as the transportation route. This project is based on the necessary of liquid bulk terminal in Metamani River, South Sorong, West Papua for crude palm oil transportation. Construction of liquid bulk terminal meets some obstacle, which is bend radius of the river is narrow for tanker. Dolphin structure is suitable for this terminal purpose. Dolphin structure can reduce the material volume needed and work volume. <br /> <br /> Purposed ship and operational data is based on environmental data. The data is become the basic input for structure design of liquid bulk terminal which based on British Standard Code of Practice for Marine Structures – Part 1-6. BS6349: British Standard Institution and SAP2000 structure analysis software. Output from SAP2000 is Unity Check ratio (UCR), structure deflection, internal forces, and joint reactions. Output from SAP2000 is used in the process of reinforce concrete design of beams, plates, pile cap, mooring dolphin and breasting dolphin. Output from SAP2000 is used in analysis of soil bearing capacity for deep foundation. Cost analysis is based on reinforce concrete design which the volume of the material needed is calculated. Volume of dredging is included in this coast analysis because river bend is too narrow for tankers. text
