The effect of applying this concept is decreasing of general problems in traffic’s network in the city. <br /> <br /> <br /> In this project of Joyoboyo Intermodal Station, there are several aspects that must be analyzed. One of those aspects is transportational aspects. In this project, the analyzed of transportational aspects are about demand of monorail passengers, characteristics of parking, pavement structure of terminal in this intermodal station, the traffic’s impact in station area that caused by its construction, the geometry of monorail guideway, the platform of monorail station, and the queue on monorail ticket counter. <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on the outputs of analysis on those transportational aspects, the earned of outcomes are demand of monorail passengers is 415 passengers/hour. The required of total parking area is 1132,5 m2. Futhermore, the required of parking capacity is 1134 vehicles.hour (for cars) and 2250 vehicles.hour (for motorcycle) with operational hour of this station is 18 hours. The chosen of pavement structure based on received traffic load is segmental-concrete-pavement-without-reinforcement type with thickness of foundation layer is 125 mm and thickness of concrete slab is 165 mm. During connecting each segment of pavement structure, it will use dowels and tie bars. This station’s construction will cause bad effects (level of traffic saturation is not on stable condition) on roads around it so that it needs some alternatives to resolve those problems. Geometry of monorail guideway and platform is determined by the type of monorail that will be used in this station, that is small-type monorail. The type of queue that occurs on this station is FVFS and it will be used effectively if this station has 3 ticket counters and those ticket counters placed closely. text |
