The Arabic calligraphy has contributed to the tradisional visual arts of Cirebon. The aspect of calligraphy makes the art fully with high \"sakral\" value. But unfortunately, it\'s looked by several of traditional communities as the highly values redundancy, even it\'s imagined that it have \"magic\" or \"mistic\" forces. In visual side, there are many aspects of non Cirebon cultures which claimed belong to Cirebon cultures. That\'s why, it\'s suggested me to do something, like \"research\" or exploration of the traditional arts of Cirebon. I hope through the research I can investigate : what\'s visual and simbolic meaning of the arts, and also to correct the texts of its calligraphy. The aim of this research is observe the simbolical and aesthetical meaning of the artifacts from Arabic calligraphy aulge to find the correct textually. The artifacts of Cirebon which was become the objects of the research such as wall decoration, glass painting, wood carving, batik, and isim, were from : museum of Kraton Kasepuhan, Kraton Kanoman, individual people of Cirebon, artist of glass painting, and from out of Cirebon like Bandung (from collection of Haryadi Suadi and Hajj Abay), and Jakarta (from collection of Joop Ave and Museum Tekstil), and from literatures like books, thesis, disertation, and from individual information via interview. The method used to analyze the research data is deskriptif analysis, to explore the aspects of the artifacts and correlations between calligraphy and simbolic meanings of the artifacts through out finding key words to open c . 1 - \' of the text. The results of the research gave me something like : side of visual aspects that heritage of culture \"pra\" Islam such as \"waya _\" in traditional arts of Cirebon is still life and still exists, and aculturated wit local tradition. And from side of Arabic calligraphy, I found that they were as opted from verses of Alquran text, beside that several wrong-spelling and writing of Arabic letters, and wrong placed of the word of \"Allah\" at the foot or rear of figures of \"Ganesha\" and \"Semar\" are also found.
