Summary: | Technology is the application of scientific knowledge for practical purpose, usually in industry. The application of technology not only for the industry but also to make a better quality and easier life for human. This also includes on housing context. There are many technology that has been used in housing, including : smart home technology, green building technology, and also prefabrication technology. A lot of previous studies that discussed about those technology in seperated way, but non of it discuss about what is the technology that most desirable by the market. The purpose of this thesis are : to know the most desirable housing technology by the market in Jakarta, Indonesia and how they want it to be provided on market, to know the hindrances from the supplier points of view to market the technology, and also to know the hindrance for the market to adopt the technology. <br />

This study using mixed method : interview as qualitative, also conjoint analysis and UTAUT model as quantitative. The result showed that the most desirable technology by Jakarta market is green building technology and they want to buy it as a finished house that already installed with green building technology which produced by the government developer. This first phase results then follows by the second phase result that showed the governement developer still postponed to marketing housing product with green technology building because of this three additional factors : price, government influence, and design. This second phase results then added to the UTAUT model. Using Semi Structural Equation, the third phase results shows that the significant factors on green building technology adoption are Performance expectancy and design value. <br />
