Description
Summary:Processing of seismic data using conventional method used today can't solve the problem of seismic data which has a high complexity of subsurface geology, so it needed application of alternative method that can solve the problem. The alternative method is Common Reflection Surface Stack (CRS-Stack). This new stacking method could regularize seismic data and also provide better quality subsurface image, especially when facing a complex geological structure. The new results are then compared to the old ones, which show some significant advantages, so that interpretation of layering system and fault structures could be conducted more clearly and easier. The objective of this thesis is to enhance the quality of stacked and migrated seismic data. The original seismic data was acquired in the beginning

of 1980s with a far offset value of only 720 m and low value of fold. After performing seismic data reprocessing, the study is continued by making subsurface geological interpretation beneath the study area. Here, the distribution of formations and continuity of existing fault could be seen in a better way.
