Clean water utilized by the whole community needs to be reviewed aspects of quality, quantity and continuity so as not to cause negative impacts to human health and can meet their needs. Cikoneng Water Treatment Plant is one of the WTP that operates in the service of PDAM Tirta Raharja. Cikoneng IPA has a total production capacity of 400 L / s but, specifically for unit 3 of 150 L / s by serving 6 service areas of Ciparay, Baleendah, Bojongsoang, Dayeuhkolot, Pacet and Rancaekek subdistricts. Increasing public demand for clean water and the company's commitment to continuously improve its service capacity, the capacity of Cikoneng WTP needs to be increased by 664,4 L/s. Ciparay's SPAM development considers aspects of increasing the percentage of service areas, land demand and development costs under a four-stage development scenario of increasing the 100% capacity of all existing WTP and constructing a new WTP with a capacity of 265 L / s. The first phase was evaluated and redesigned at WTP 3 Cikoneng unit by increasing the processing capacity from 150 L/s to 300 L/s due to never been done on the WTP. The focus of the redesign is done on the filtration, reservoir, and disinfection units by adding units and modifying the hydraulic design as the chosen alternative. The redesign is done by adding 4 units of filter with dimensions adjusted to the existing condition that is 5,8 x 2,5 x 5,9 m, the replacement of filter media system into dual media filter (silica and anthracite sand) and modify the dimensions of the reservoir unit To 45 x 28,25 x 3,6 m and change the point of injection disinfection. The cost are required for these three units is Rp. 2.342.000.00,00. text
