MIGRASI MONOMER STIREN DARI-PLASTIK POLISTIREN KE DALAM BEBERAPA SIMULASI MAKANAN
Migration of styrene monomer from polystyrene plastic into several food and beverages simulations has been carried out in this study. Parafin liquid, 50 % alcohol, 5 % sodium carbonate, 5 % citric acid solutions and aquadest were used as extraction solvent to simulate food and beverage. Measurement...

Measurement of residual styrene monomer in plastics was performed using iodometric titration technique and the styrene monomer which migrated into the solvents were measured using gas liquid chromatography, after 3, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days extraction, at 25 ° and 40° Celsius.
