Summary:Development of water treatment plant (WTP) is very important to meet the needs of clean water. The increasing number of residents and residential areas in DKI Jakarta require consideration for the provision of clean water. One of the areas targeted for the development of residential areas is Superblock North CBD Cakung area in Cilincing sub district, North Jakarta. The North CBD Cakung area is planned to be built in 2020 until 2030. The water treatment plant designed in North CBD Cakung area consists of pre-processing unit, main processing and final processing. The pre-processing unit consists of equalisation unit and pre-chlorination unit. The main processing unit consists of coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and a rapid sand filter, and the final processing unit is reservoir in which disinfection and neutralization are carried out. The development of WTP in the North CBD Cakung area is carried out in two (2) stage namely the first stage for the year 2025 with a processing capacity of 187,5 lps and the second stage for the period of 2030 with a processing capacity of 375 lps. The total investment cost of development of WTP in the first stage is Idr 39,600,000,000, and total investment cost of development of WTP in the second stage is equal to Idr 16,700,000,000.
