It is expected that with subsidies, public transportation can become safer, more comfortable and more attractive to the public. In this final project, two types of government subsidies will be discussed. Type 1, government subsidy is intended to purchase buses from manufacture. Type 2, government subsidy is aimed at reducing the price of passenger tickets. Models and solutions used in this final project are obtained from Yuza Terzalgi B.'s (2017) thesis on government subsidies of type 1 and type 2. The model solution will be analyzed using non-cooperative method. The purpose of this final task is to determine the optimum number of preventive maintenance PM and ticket prices by considering both types of subsidies. PM action is done to reduce the vehicle failure rate. The smaller the failure rate, the smaller the cost of corrective maintenace CM. Based on the data of the bus first failure from Perum DAMRI Bandung, some conclusions are obtained. In both models with DAMRI bus operation period in 5 years, the number of optimum PM is 19 times with PM 3.1 month period. DAMRI optimum ticket prices will be cheaper if government subsidies are bigger. In the type 2 of subsidy model, with the subsidy used for the reduction of ticket price, the optimum ticket price obtained are around Rp 1,000, - cheaper compared to the type 1 subsidy model. text
