The plant is also a kind that produces a lot of waste when harvested. Therefore, it needs some organic fertilizer and utilization of bioconversion waste processing by Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL). This research is conducted to find out a growth response and the cauliflower production towards variety of compost dosage. The research is held in open area at PT East West Seed Indonesia, Lembang. The compost is generated from cauliflower and bone meal bioconversion by BSFL. The compost is mixed with leaf compost and given to the cauliflower with the variation of 50 gram,100 gram, and 150 gram. Observations made towards the growth of BSF in the form of Approximate Digestibility (AD), Efficiency of Conversion of Digested-feed (ECD), and Waste Reduction Index (WRI), the numbers of leaves per plant, the height of the plant, the total of chlorophyll content, the weight of curd, the curd diameter and curd firmness. The BSF growth which was fed with those food has AD value of 14,73%, ECD 33,9%, and WRI 4,12%. Anorganic fertilizer has best effect towards the numbers of leaves per plant as many as 27 and the height of plant is 62,2 cm. 50 g organic fertilizer application is resulting the highest value to the total of chlorophyll parameter for 13,6 mg/l. 150 g organic fertilizer application produce the best value to production parameter with average curd weight of 490,4 gram, 17 cm of curd diameter, 3,17 kgf/cm2 of curd firmness and 11,3 ton/ha/year of productivity estimation. 50 g, 100 g and 150 g organic fertilizer application based on one-way ANOVA test is having no significant effect on growth and production result. text |
