Summary:Thermal Barrier Coating(TBC)is a layer for protecting some materials made of metal from high temperature in along time period.Forinstance, TBC is applied to the surfaces of metallic parts in the hot test part of gas turbine engine. Since the effciency of gas turbine engine depends on the high temperature, heat conduction simulation is needed for calculating the flow of temperature in material which the sides are protected by TBC.Some factors that affect the flow temperature in a media are size and characteristic of the media.In this final project,a mathematical model will be constructed to optimize the efficiency of material. <br /> <br /> <br /> The optimization problems will be dependent upon size and characteristic of material. Genetic Algorithm optimization heuristic method is used to find optimum value of size and characteristic of material.
