Description
Summary:Vehicle emissions modeling using a cohort model is a quite effective method in conducting an emission inventory and identify the source of the main pollutants

from mobile sources. Bali is one of province in Indonesia that has quite complex problem about traffic vehicles, especially in the tourism areas. In this study, dynamic modeling is used to create a model with sub-population (cohort) based on age of the vehicle to predict emissions from vehicles up to 20 years from now, so government can make a policy to manage emissions from vehicles. The results showed that motorcycles provide a major contribution to the emission of carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC), with 94.55% CO emissions and 90.73% HC emissions. As for NOx emissions, Heavy Duty Vehicle (HDV) provides a major contribution to NOx emissions with 50.73% NOx emissions. In 20 years, the major contribution in CO and HC emissions are still contribute by motorcycle which about 90.42% of CO emission and 83.7% of HC emission, while for NOx

emission is still held by HDV about 66.5% of NOx emissions.
