From treatment of electronic waste which is using the combustion process, one negative effect of them on lung health, in a fairly long period of time because it can lower one's lung capacity . This research was conducted in area the treatment of electronic waste (e-waste) which is illegal , in the Subdistrict Panjunan , District Astana Anyar, Bandung.with cross sectional research methods. The purpose of this study is to look at the risk of the public from treatment e-waste, especially from elementary school -aged children around the processing of electronic waste ( e-waste) illegal. The number of respondents surveyed in the area of electronic waste (e-waste) is illegal as many as 82 people from grades 3-6 and are in the age range 9-14 years. FEV1.0 measurements conducted to determine the effect of dust generated from the combustion process electronic waste (e-waste) in the lung capacity of children men and women. Conditions of lung capacity measured by spirometry Minato AS-500 is the average value of FEV1.0, FVC and the ratio FEV1.0/FVC. FEV1.0 and FVC values in the exposed samples is always lower than the may be exposed sample and unexposed sample. For the classification of impaired lung function in a sample exposed many which is have interference: medium obstruction & mild restruction. While the may be exposed sample many which is have interference: medium obstruction & medium restruction and unexposed samples many which is have interference: medium obstruction and mild restruction. text
