Jakabaring Sport Area is a part of Jakabaring Masterplan Project. Currently, several parts of Jakabaring Sport Area has been implemented gradually. The masterplan of this area also has been changed according to the needs of certain events. Consequently, there is concern that the implementation and the change of masterplan can cause poor performances for urban design elements in that area. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine urban design performances in the implementation of Jakabaring Sport Area. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This research is an evaluative research. This research use seven criteria such as the adequacy of capacity, security, safety, health, accessibility, comfort, and variety. In the process, these criteria are used as benchmark to evaluate urban design elements and community perception about urban design performances. They are needed to produce a clear description about urban design performance in Jakabaring Sport Area. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In the end of this study, it can be concluded that urban design performance in Jakabaring Sport Area is not good enough. This is demonstrated by the low performance on most criteria. Meanwhile, when viewed by community perception, most of respondent stated that urban design performance in Jakabaring Sport Area is quite good. This performance difference is caused by the low standards that required by community.
