Based on RT RW Kabupaten Bandung 2007-2027, Kecamatan Rancaekek and Cicalengka which previously was dominated by agricultural land use, will be developed into residential, industrial, commercial, even tourism areas. With this circumstances, it can be estimated that the number of population in these two districs will have increased very rapidly. This condition must be accompanied by an enhancement in quality of life and adequate sanitation. Sewerage system is one of the important facilities to help us having a better environmental and sanitation condition.Kecamatan Rancaekek and Cicalengka were not serviced by the sewerage system yet. On the other hand, in 2010, only 28,53% of the population use septic tank at their home. Based on its existing condition, the most appropriate system to deliver the wastewater into WWTP is the centralized system using a conventional system. In getting the most effective system, 3 alternatives of different paths are made. Each alternative is based on considerations of topography, roads, and river crossings.Alternative selection is done by weighting method of some potential factors. These potential factors are total length of pipe, flowing time, pumping stations, the number of manhole, river crossings, and <br /> <br /> <br /> railway crossings. Then the alternative which has the most part of weight will be implemented as sewerage system in Kecamatan Rancaekek and Cicalengka. text
