The Special School at Pajajaran is a special school for blind student which is located at Jalan Pajajaran, Bandung City. Currently, there is only one special schools for the blind student in Bandung, but this school has not meet the qualification of special schools for the blind. <br /> <br /> <br /> The school is designed with the aim of improving the standard and quality of special schools for children with visual impairment. The school is planned to be located in the Wyata Guna social housing complex which is a social house for training that accommodates the blind. At this time the existing condition of the land is a special school for the blind. However, in the design of this time the school will be reorganized by considering the standard and quality of good schools. <br /> <br /> <br /> School design is done by approaching the analysis of blind, so the architectural design is expected to answer the problems of blind student, in the other words it can creates a good sense of architecture and pay attention to the standards that have been set to facilitate the visually impaired children to act actively, safely and comfortably. In addition, to improve the quality of children with visual impairment, there is also need for appropriate facilities to be provided at school in accordance with the needs of blind children.
