Model simulated by primary tidal component, shallow tidal component, and a daily monsoonal wind for westerly and easterly. <br />

Verification of model show good result, which have correlation 90,07% for elevation, 64,6% and 51,9% for velocity u and v. Tidal current flows from west to eastern part of bay during flood tide and vice versea during ebb tide. Model shows variant velocity current field with average 0,02 – 0,1 m/s. Velocity current field dominanted by tidal current than the monsoonal wind. Moonsoonal pattern role in accelerating water mass which move in the same direction or deccelerating water mass which move opposite wind direction. The existence of reclamation does not change water elevation and whole current pattern except in the channel and around the reclamation area. Current accelerated up to 8 cm/s near onshore and 2 cm/s in channel, while in offshore the current speed does not change significantly. Current direction pattern in the final condition adapt the structure of reclamation area. |
