In this case the port is used to serve the activities of unloading coal which will be used as an energy source for Steam Power Plant (PLTU). PLTU is needed to accommodate mining activities conducted by the owner. The steam power plant located in the mining area of Bayah, Banten is the reason for the construction of this port, because its area is close to the open sea which can be used as a sailing line to transport coal, while its port as a place to unloading coal. Environmental conditions and ship characteristics form the basis for determining the type, dimensions, and loads on the structure. The type of port structure chosen is the deck on pile. The designed port structure includes piles, beams, plates, and pile caps. Other facilities that calculated to support activities on the port include fenders, bollards, cranes, and conveyors. The loads on the port include dead loads, live loads, current load, berthing load, mooring loads, and earthquake loads. The structure are modeled using SAP2000 software assistance. The data input of SAP2000 is the material data used, the structure dimension, and the loading of the structure. Then the output obtained from the analysis is the Unity Check Ratio (UCR), displacement, internal force, and the placement reaction in the structure. From the results of this modeling is used to get the design of its structural component. text
