DEVELOPMENT OF AXIOMATIC GREEN METHOD FOR GREEN IMPROVEMENT (CASE STUDY: PARAMETER DESIGN FOR NEAR-DRY MACHINING IN PT. STALION)

Green improvement in machining process could come from manufacturer initiative. But, they usually doubt to apply this improvement because it will influence product quality and production cost. To analyse this influence, the relationship between green, quality, and cost objectives should be modelled....

Improvement could be done by setting some machining process parameters so debit of coolant could be reduced from 4 litre/min to be 0,3194 litre/min. This solution not only reduced environment impact, but also made the process more efficent with cost reduction of 59,06 rupiahs. text
