This regional landfill will serve solid waste management from Banjarmasin City, Banjarbaru City and Banjar Regency. The distance from Banjarmasin City to The Hutan Panjang Regional Landfill is ± 50 km. And then the service area in the city that is wide enough that more than 20 km, it is making cost of solid waste management in Banjarmasin City especially transportation costs require a higher cost when compared to using The Basirih Landfill (existing). Therefore it is be required analysis in the form of scenario system. Solid waste generation in Banjarmasin City is 0.161 kilograms/person/day and 1.649 liters/person/day. Based on the ARRPET evaluation criteria analysis, risk index value for The Basirih Landfill is 445.92. Therefore it can be recommended that rehabilitate the dumpsite into sustainable landfill in a phased manner. From the results of assessement candidate The Hutan Panjang Regional Landfill sites using SNI 03-3241-1994, this site gets a good value with the value is 74.81%. From the results of the identification and evaluation of existing conditions, developed three scenarios that, business as usual with rehabilitation of The Basirih Landfill into sustainable landfill, transporting solid waste directly to The Hutan Panjang Regional Landfill from transfer station and transporting solid waste from transfer station to Stasiun Peralihan Antara (SPA) and then to The Hutan Panjang Regional Landfill. From three alternative scenarios and then assessed using weighting method but do not attempt to stakeholders and experts, with criteria: mileage, travel time, cost management and pollutant emissions (CO2). From the results of the assessment, it recommended that the scenario of business as usual with rehabilitation of The Basirih Landfill into sustainable landfill is the best alternative scenario. text
