Description
Summary:In general, the relationship between rock characteristics such as porosity and permeability of porous rocks is based on the approach through the concept of classical geometry. But has long been recognized that the porous rock geometry and structure of the pores are very complex so it is not able to be handled with the concept of classical geometry. In the concept of fractal dimension objects or numbers can be broken so that the simplification of the form of lines, shapes and surface, the shape and surface of the object can be minimized. In this study made 3D modeling porous rocks to get an overview of the modeling of rock with porosity determined and also noted a correlation equation between porosity, tortuosity and permeability and other physical properties using Kozeny-Carman equation is approached with the concept of fractals. Permeability values obtained were approached by the permeability of samples with a correlation of 0.995 and a accuration of 76.77% compared with Kozeny-Carman equation with a correlation of 0.994 with a accuration of 70%.
