Description
Summary:Season in South Tapanuli is divided into the dry season and rainy season because the temperature is monotonous throughout the year and the rainfall have a great

variation. Onset and withdrawal is important because impact effetiveness first stage of growth of crops.Zone season in South Tapanuli still can be divided into

smaller areas as many as 10 zones through cluster analysis method of determining the start of the season so the resolution becomes higher. Determination of the start

of the season performed with ARIMA method. With ARIMA method, rainfall can be predicted with a good but not the value of above normal rainfall. Study of rainfal

patterns and climatic classification done for the analysis of rainfall anomalies that occurred during the 16 years. South Tapanuli region has a rainfall patterns and the

equatorial climate is very wet, then the controlling factor of precipitation is ITCZ.
