Summary: | Teluk Lamong Multi Purpose Terminal is a seaport located on the Lamong bay between the border district of Gresik and Surabaya. Teluk Lamong Terminal is a seaport built on the sea surface using reclaimed land. Teluk Lamong Terminal will support the Port of Tanjung Perak in Surabaya, especially for dry bulk and containers handling. Based on the Masterplan Percepatan dan Perluasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Indonesia (MP3EI), the port around Surabaya is the gateway for goods logistics towards eastern Indonesia. Therefore, Teluk Lamong Terminal has an important role in achieving economy equality between western and eastern Indonesia.
The seaport has two important components, which are land side and sea side facilities. In this thesis, only the land side facilities of Teluk Lamong Terminal are evaluated. This thesis also calculates the number of loading and unloading equipments required at Teluk Lamong Container Terminals such as container crane, head truck, and Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane (RTGC). In calculating the number of the loading and unloading equipments, stochastic approach i.e. Monte Carlo method is used.
The result of the land side facilities Lamong Bay Terminal evaluation shows that berth in the Terminal Teluk Lamong should be developed in 2017. The container yard in Terminal Teluk Lamong also should be developed in 2016. The result of the calculation of loading and unloading equipment using Monte Carlo method is 6 units of container crane, 45 units of head truck, and 20 units of RTGC. |
