Summary:Contemporary Art Museum is a museum that was designed for Bandung citizen as an aesthetic public room which is built with the aim of enhancing people’s appreciation of arts and removing boundaries of interaction between artists and publics. A good planning management which covers three main objectives of construction project planning was needed to realize this project: quality management through planning method of construction implementation, time management through scheduling, and cost management through construction cost estimation. <br /> <br /> Construction implementation method started with field grounding and cleaning and then followed by rehabilitation with installation of prefabricated vertical drain and preloading to accelerate the ground consolidation. The next step was the lower structure works, including diaphragm walls and installation of precast piles continued with digging, cutting of piles, dewatering, and anchoring installation in sequential until the end phase of digging. This work ends with pile cap and tie beam work using cast in place method. Upper Structure work were done sequentially in correspond with zone planning, consist of steel profile assembling for column, beam, and roof, composite concrete plate work with metal deck, and concrete stairs work using cast in place method. Complementary works consist of access and parking road pavement work, drainage work, MEP, and architectural. <br /> <br /> In accordance with project planning and scheduling, the total duration of this construction project was 996 days, consist of 179 days of ground rehabilitation work and 817 days of construction work. This work duration was based on 2 type of works namely work with heavy duty lead resources and work with worker group lead resources. While work duration of MEP and architectural complementary work were based on literature study. In addition, project’s critical way was generated to form the project scheduling. This is important to avoid the project delay. <br /> <br /> At the project cost estimation, the estimation was determined by planning consultant point of view, so the output was in form of preliminary estimation which could be used by the owner in the auction process with the contractor. Cost estimation for the main works were determined using resource enumeration method according to Ministry of Public Works Regulation No. 28 year 2016 about Analisis Harga Satuan Pekerjaan (AHSP) Bidang Pekerjaan Umum (Lampiran AHSP Bidang Cipta Karya) and Jurnal Harga Satuan Bangunan Konstruksi dan Interior 2017. While the estimation of complementary works was determined conceptually according to Standarisasi Harga Tertinggi Satuan Barang dan Jasa di Lingkungan Pemerintah Kota Bandung tahun 2016 regulation. The results of cost estimation of this project were implementation budget draft (RAP) at the amount of Rp. 355.003.765.400 and budget draft (RAB) at Rp. 390.504.141.900. The direct and indirect cost were included in this estimation result
