Based on International Energy Agency (IEA), reported by Wikipedia, Indonesia is ranked 20th in the list of world electricity producers belonging to moderate group on electricity consumption but often get in electrical crisis in various regions. Therefore we need to looks for another alternative energy that can developed benefits, have great potentials and decentralize so as to reduce dependable of use fossil energy and can obtained in regional scale and environmentally friendly. One of the best solution is to build Minihidro Power Plant. This alternative energy should be supported by good hydrological and topographic condition. One of the best place to build this Minihidro Power Plant is in Harjosari Village on Kandang Serang District, Pekalongan Regency. This village is located in mountainous area at an altitude of 428 m to 1075 m above the sea level with trap or hill structure. <br /> <br /> This plan will be degigned for weir and forebay structure and selection of turbin types .The mainstay debit available on 6.27 m3/s which is potentially capable of producing 6.85 MW power. The designed weir has height about 4m with the pond size 9.6 x 22.2 x 2.35m. text |
