A study was conducted to determine the effect of ex-BSF leachate as Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) on green lettuce growth (Lactuca sativa L.) at Screen House SITH ITB, Jatinangor. Treatment of leachate ex BSF concentrations of 0.4%, 0.8% and 1.6% on lettuce compared to POC Nasa® as well as controls. Each treatment was repeated 5 times using lettuce as much as 6 plants. The results showed that ex-BSF leachate contained 0.10% N; 0.06% P2O5; 0.39% K; 200 ppm Ca; 0.03% S; 300 ppm Mg; 0.04% Cl; 4 ppm Fe; 4 ppm Cu; 3 ppm Zn; 0.01% Na; 16 ppm Al; And C / N ratio of 8. The content of P and K elements in leachate is higher than that contained in POC Nasa®. All leachate treatment of ex BSF gave no significant effect on lettuce growth compared with other treatments (Tukey P <0.05). However, plant height, leaf area, and number of leaf lettuce given by leachate ex BSF have a better effect than POC Nasa®. On the fresh weight, parameter showed that NASA® POC treatment and control were better than leachate although differed unstably. From this research, it can be concluded that leachate ex BSF gives the same effect as commercial liquid organic fertilizer. text
