Summary:Drainage system is one of the most important flood prevention system in Sultan Thaha Airport. Flood can be caused by direct runoff on surface which will decrease absorbsing of teh soil. If the airport flooding, the operational activities will be disturbed. Design of drainage system in Sultan Thaha Airport Area based on the standard from Direktorat Jenderal Cipta Karya. The process will be started by calculating hydrology and hydraulic analysis, and the result will be checked by software HEC-RAS 5.0.3. The final result from this final project is the design section of channels which made by manufactory, the dimension of detension is 150 x 75 x 2,5 m, and 3 m of width spillway design for return period of 20 years. The design of drainage system can be applied for Sultan Thaha Airport development.
