The final project is a three-star hotel located on the main road Painan Carocok Coast, West Sumatra. This form of land reclamation projects and The area around the land is in the form of coastal tourist areas, and the hill. The beach became the main view can be presented in the design of this hotel. Based on the rule set, the land can be built with an area of the ground floor a maximum of 40% of the land area and the number of floors a maximum of 6 floors. According to the results of feasibility of the study, this hotel requires facilities such as sports facilities such as swimmingpool, gym, and spa. Besides the need for function room for meetings and conference activities that are supported by restaurant and cafes. Room hotel consists of 3 types: standard room, deluxe, and suite rooms with a total of 73 rooms. The hotel has a floor area of 2347 m2 basis and total floor area of 12211m2. Tread design and the spaces in this hotel are emphasized on the issue of the front of the house and back of the house, zoning between the two, circulation, and commercial aspects. The earthquake and tsunami also a local issue affecting the design, especially on the structure of the building. In addition to functional compliance, the context of the surrounding land is a public parking area and gardens are located along the seafront is an important concern that gave rise to the concept of promenade in the hotel building.
