TRIZ (Teoriya Resheniya Izobretatelskikh Zadach) is a problem-solving method based on logic and data, not an intuition. The procces of finding solution creatively could be found in a faster way. This method is based on the principle where every pattern of existing problems had a pattern of specific solutions that may have been applied before. Thus, the result had not come from spontaneous and intuitive thought of a particular individual or group. This method will be used to find a solution for disassembly problem of core engine module CFM56-7B at PT. GMF AeroAsia. <br /> <br /> <br /> CMF56-7B is an aircraft engine that is widely used on commercial aircraft. The process of assembly and disassembly components are familiar works in PT. GMF AeroAsia as MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) company. However, during the disassembly of core module CFM56-7B procceses some reports have been reported to have troubles. The phenomenon of varnishing or oil sludge is suspected to be the main cause of failure in this disassembly process. This varnishing phenomenon would lead to many other problems that cause serious material loses.
