Summary:The train is one of goods and people transportation mode. The development of railways in this country started a steam locomotive to diesels locomotive. Locomotives with steam engine propellers that initially managed by the Dutch company is Nederlansh Indische Spoorwegen (NIS) and Staats Spoorwegen (SS), began to pull the carriages in 1867. Electric power Locomotives with Jakarta - Bogor route was first run in 1925 and then in 1953, train modernization by 27 diesel locomotives. Indonesian Government through PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is conducting improvements in infrastructure form and services to strengthen the railways. The hope about magnetic levitated train (Maglev) will come as the future fastest train in Indonesian transportation. This Research studied about train physics. This Research aims to understand the physics concepts about thermodynamic of fuel motor, the workings of electric motors, motion transmission, and magnetic impulse, energy and efficiency of the train.
