In the manufacture of short-term weather forecasts needed some forecasting methods in order to obtain results forecast rapid, precise and accurate. One method of forecasting that still used is the stability index method. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> However, the stability index threshold between one region with another region are different so it is necessary to do research about the threshold stability index. In the threshold determination, the method that used is boxplot to obtain the limits for rain events and not raining. From the threshold which is obtained also will be analyzed the threshold during the rainy season and dry season to see the results of the threshold during those seasons. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The obtained results in this research are obtaining the threshold of rain events and not raining for four stability index that is K-index, Sholwater index, SWEAT index and Total-totals index. The threshold are K index for occurences not rain < 32.9 and rain events > 32.9, Showalter index for not rain > 1.6 and rain < 1.6, SWEAT index for not rain < 194 and for rain > 194, while Total-totals index for not rain < 42.1 and for rain > 42.1. However, from all of the threshold obtained which showed the largest percentage value is threshold - threshold that indicates the incident is not raining. text
