One way to produce electrical energy is to convert the energy contained in a fluid into mechanical energy through a component called a turbine. <br /> <br /> <br /> On this undergraduate assignment will be focused on making linear slot turbine design procedures. Linear slot turbine is a type of axial impulse turbine. Linear slot turbine has a feature compared to other types of turbine that is the process of energy conversion occurs in the slot (hole) that is around the rotor. The design procedure is required to produce a linear slot turbine design that performs as desired. The design procedure will be prepared based on an analysis of the optimization of the slot angle on the rotor to produce the maximum efficiency. text
